PROMOTION MANAGER, BRIDES.COM (TEMP TO PERM) June 23, 2009
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Integrated Services, this manager is the leader of the brides.com promotion team. The position requires strong program and project management skills to guarantee timely execution of responsibilities. Strong direct excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks are required. Management skills are necessary, as this role oversees the department of three full time employees.
The Promotion manager oversees and executes all marketing initiatives for Brides.com Media (Website & 16 regional magazines), including:
Brides.com Brand Marketing Initiatives
· Supervise Sales & Marketing Collateral
· Oversee development of event strategy: trade shows, bridal shows, networking
· Develop brides.com’s premium items
In Book Project Management of the following
· National in-book sections (Personal Shopper/BRC, Style Gallery, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons)
· Final Proofing of the In-Book local pages
· In-Book event pages
· Advertorial/insert creation
· House ads
Brides.com Advertiser Programs
· Lead generation programs & sweeps
· Launch new marketing initiatives for the generation of revenue
· Publishers letter
Additional Duties
· Oversee Print Promotion Budget
· Research Surveys
· Competitive analysis
· Training of local and national reps & procedure
