The Director of Sales Solutions will provide tailored and actionable solutions to enable brand activation among the company’s most targeted advertisers. You will be focused on building innovative services for our Senior Management and account team. Through effective communication with the sales teams to understand customer priorities, these services will leverage Captivate’s unique vantage into online behavior, its trusted relationships with its customers and its renowned technology platform. The Director will lead all aspects of the go-to-market effort of this direct to consumer, out of home interface, including Sales, Marketing, and Research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage newly formed custom solutions team; work with Field Marketing Manager to empower more strategic and proactive consultation at the regional level.
• Serve as primary interface to key solutions support staff (e.g. programming, engineering, real estate) and provide strong cross-functional leadership and project management to ensure consistent and responsive recommendations.
• Drive strategy for cross-platform program development. Provide guidance and prioritization input to development efforts based on advertising customer demand and consumer insights; monitor product and service upgrades and integrate these into solutions.
• Support proposal development and refinement (including RFP responses) to generate creative “outside the box” ideas which best leverage the cross-platform capabilities of Captivate and drive new business revenues. Act as organizational change agent.
• Develop custom metrics and tracking programs as necessary to justify and assess emerging solution templates.

Requirements:
• Ideal candidate will have an agency strategy/planning background or experience developing integrated marketing programs in a leading brand management environment.
• Minimum 10 years demonstrated track record of creative proposal development and sales support; media and/or new media experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, ability to juggle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
• Ability to take initiative, identify key issues and underlying challenges, think strategically and design large scale initiatives in alignment with company and customer objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree required
