Men’s Health, the world’s largest men’s magazine, is seeking an
energetic, creative, passionate food and nutrition editor to bring on
board. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of food from both
a culinary and a nutritional standpoint~equally capable of dissecting a
recipe as he or she is at dissecting the latest research in the leading
journals.
While a background in professional cooking or a degree in nutrition is
not essential, candidates should be comfortable editing and writing
everything from 100-word research-based blurbs to 2,000-word features
filled with recipes and cooking techniques.
This position can be located in New York or our Emmaus, Pennsylvania
location.
The ideal candidate will possess: * 3 to 5 years magazine experience,
preferably in the food or health space * Demonstrated skill with
nutrition and health reporting * Clips that exhibit a lively writing
style and a firm understanding of service journalism * Ability to write,
test, and edit recipes a plus
