Women’s Health is seeking a Senior Associate Editor to join our team in
our Emmaus, PA location.
Responsibilities include:

Assigning/editing freelance stories
Identifying meaningful scientific breakthroughs and trends for women in
the areas of health, fitness, nutrition, weight loss, sex, and beauty
Writing stories, sidebars, and captions as needed
Researching and reporting stories
Cultivating and maintaining contacts with writers
Coordinating the work of multiple reporters at once on tight deadlines
Generating story ideas The ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years in editing consumer magazines, experience assigning
and editing features a plus
The ability to read and analyze dense scientific studies and translate
that information for a general audience
Strong editing/writing /reporting skills
A lively writing style
A passionate interest in the topic of women’s health, fitness, and
well-being
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Strong computer skills, including InDesign
