The Manager, Marketing Research

The Manager, Marketing Research will provide primary marketing research support to the Psychiatry Franchise. The Manager, Market Research will manage qualitative and quantitative primary market research projects for the Psychiatry Franchise including maximizing market positioning for INVEGA and working to leverage insights to the betterment of the franchise as a whole. He/she develops and manages a research plan for the product while working with suppliers and managing the overall budget. Collaborate with colleagues in the Business Analytics group to share best practices and leverage resources. Independently partners with Brand Team and PGSM.

The Manager, Market Research should be knowledgeable about primary research methods and have familiarity with secondary research data and its sources. The Manager, Market Research routinely provides marketing insights that drive strategies of their respective franchise teams. In this role, the individual is responsible for the timely initiation and completion of projects and designing the overall methodology and data presentation plan.

The individual must be capable of collaborating across Business Analytics and business partners to ensure requirements are met. He/she must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization. Must also be able to effectively interface with peers in Marketing, Sales, and the Pharmaceutical Global Strategic Marketing Group. The Manager must be able to work on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines, and provide recommendations that will assist in the development of commercial strategies. This individual also needs to stay abreast of emerging healthcare industry trends and assess their potential impact on our business.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of progressive business experience is required. A minimum of two years of Market Research/Business Analytics experience is preferred. Experience with Primary market research data is required. Experience with Secondary market research is preferred. Experience working within the healthcare industry is required. Experience within CNS is preferred. Must have an ability to see beyond the confines of MR data to broader business issues. Demonstrated Project Management skills are required. Excellent communication skills and strong influencing skills are required. Excellent writing and presentation skills are also required. Results-oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating, with strong interdependent partnering skills are required. The ability to travel approximately 30% is required.

Position-Permalance Creative Services Role - CondeNet

We (CondéNet) are looking for someone to fill a freelance/permalance position for a creative services role. Must have prior experience in writing proposals in response to rfp’s (at least 3-5 years experience). Experience with online concepting is preferred. The position would be for M-F 930 to 6pm, beginning November 13 (or sooner) and ending mid-late February. There is the possibility of this position becoming full-time if interested.

Daily duties include proposal writing in response to RFPs (70%), pitching creative concepts both internally and to agencies/clients (10%), and managing creative programs from a strategic point of view (20%). • Manage schedules for all projects in department [60+ at any given time].
• Track all projects, providing detailed communications to marketing managers, art director and creative director
• Buy art, prepare mechanicals, flight check all files, make proofs, release all files, communicate with vendors until project is signed, sealed, delivered.
• Finalize pre-designed projects (copy changes, retouching, etc)

• Design all PowerPoint presentations: work under pressure with top exec. management to create dynamic presentations.
