You will interface directly with our customers and will handle all reader questions and complaints as they relate to advertising. She/he oversees a team engaged in creating the vision for all projects from conception to final product, including content development, specific uses of the products by councils/volunteers/girls in multiple venues, design, layout, and production. This position is instrumental in developing and implementing the turnkey programs and materials that define the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience. The incumbent creates and publishes program experiences that reflect current research on best practices in girls’ development and experiential education and that result in a measurable impact on the lives of girls at all age levels and from all populations. </p>
<p>The Editor in Chief collaborates closely with the Vice President-Program Development and the Director-Program Innovation to develop the overall Girl Scout program strategy and product architecture that defines core and supplemental programs, product lines, and alignment of awards in programs. In addition to the program strategy, the incumbent leads the overarching strategy for program-related products, creating a framework for development and delivery of a holistic portfolio of products by grade level (curricula, special products, badges, awards). She/he presents the product vision and plans to stakeholders: headquarters, council affiliates, advisory groups, and third-party vendors or partners. The Editor in Chief-Program Publications directs a multiplatform approach in creating and distributing materials for girls and adults, and promotes interactive engagement of girls, councils, and volunteers through varied delivery channels (linking print and Web resources) using technology that facilitates dialogue among headquarters, affiliates, girls, and volunteers.</p>
<p>Job Qualifications:</p>
<p>• Twelve years of leadership directing large-scale and multiple publishing projects and teams for youth markets, or equivalent experience in editorial management preferred, with emphasis on progressive experience regarding scope and scale of projects and teams </p>
<p>• Minimum 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience managing, directing and coaching staff, budget development, and management </p>
<p>• Demonstrated superior writing and editing skills for various formats </p>
<p>• Demonstrated experience in youth development practices and experiential education, including expertise in recognizing editorial excellence in resources for girls K-12 to provide a foundation of knowledge about how young girls grow and develop </p>

<p>The Director, Sales Planning for the Time Inc Style &#038; Entertainment Digital Group will be responsible for leading inventory strategy and monetization for both premium and non-premium inventory across Time Inc’s Style &#038; Entertainment sites (People.com, EW.com, InStyle.com, Peopleenespanol.com, and Celebrity Baby Blog) to ensure revenue targets are met. This position is a member of the digital management team and reports to the President, Digital Style &#038; Entertainment Group.</p>
<p>The Sales Planning organization is focused on 1) partnering with sales to respond to RFP’s 2) managing and optimizing campaign delivery and performance 3) maintaining pricing strategy and business rules for direct sales efforts. 4) serving as digital media experts within the organization 5) managing of non-premium inventory through relationships with Ad Networks, international partners and others.</p>
<p>The Director, Sales Planning will:<br />
o	Oversee sales planning teams at each brand to help ensure individual brand revenue targets are met<br />
o	Serve as management liaison with centralized Ad Operations team.<br />
o	Set pricing strategies and oversee development of sales tools (rate card, business rules, etc)<br />
o	Lead Inventory strategy for the Group and make recommendations for brand level inventory strategy<br />

o	Work with Directors of Digital Marketing and Integrated Marketing to manage workflow and process between groups<br />
o	Oversee Revenue Optimization Manager in execution of non-premium inventory deals<br />
o	Coordinate with editorial teams to determine best practices and standards for new ad formats and placements<br />
o	Translate industry trends into ad formats, monetization and ad technology into saleable solutions for sales teams.<br />
o	Report key sales planning metrics<br />
o	Serve as digital media and product monetization expert within organization</p>
<p>Key Criteria:<br />
o	Minimum of 10-15 years overall experience with 6-8 years of related experience.<br />
o	Understanding of online ad serving systems, sales strategies and ad monetization models.<br />
o	Familiarity with Ad Operation functions and technology. Experience with DFP platform a plus.<br />
o	Success designing and implementing successful operational processes.<br />
o	Analyzing workflow and data to innovate new ideas and concepts.<br />
o	Experience managing large teams and cross functional groups.<br />
o	Ability to consume and process large amounts of data and translate it into a concise actionable message.<br />
o	Strong organizational skills.<br />
o	Superior communication skills for frequent internal and external discussions and project management.<br />
o	Desire to build relationships, encourage teamwork and lead a team.<br />
o	Experience working with ad networks.<br />
o	Bachelors Degree required.</p>

<p>We are looking for two interns for the winter semester; one general intern and one graphic design intern.</p>
<p>Intern duties:</p>
<p>- Work with Executive Director to prepare materials for event speakers</p>
<p>-  Conduct market research for sponsorship team</p>
<p>- Assist Sponsorship Coordinator to gather necessary materials from sponsors for event</p>
<p>- Work with Attendee Marketing Director to organize attendee registration forms, vendor invoices and materials for event</p>
<p>- Learn design programs and assist graphic designer on event materials</p>
<p>- Assist on-site at all events</p>
<p>- Handle all requests from attendees for speaker presentations</p>
<p>- Organize and mail speaker and sponsor gifts post event</p>
<p>- Maintain event archives</p>
