<p>The Writer/Editor, Membership Resources, is responsible for writing and editing print and electronic adult resources. <p>Qualifications: </p>
<p>•	Minimum 3 years of experience writing for culturally diverse adult audiences. </p>
<p>•	Minimum 3 years of experience developing, organizing, and copyediting manuscripts of similar content.  </p>
<p>•	Excellent organizational and project-management skills. Experience developing and managing schedules, meeting deadlines, and working on multiple projects simultaneously as project leader and team member.  </p>
<p>•	Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated customer service skills.</p>
<p>•	Demonstrated experience working in a highly collaborative environment under pressure.</p>

•	Development of sell sheets and other sales collateral to effectively communicate program concept and requirements<br />
•	Working with members of the RDA Food &#038; Entertaining Affinity to exploring cross-media advertising opportunities with other RDA properties Participation in sales calls to bring programs and ideas to life for advertisers<br />
•	Maintaining marketing tools and status reports<br />
•	Implement and oversee junior members of the staff with regard to proposal creation and program execution </p>
<p>Qualifications:<br />
•	Creative writer with ability to correct, rewrite and revise one&#8217;s own work and the work of others to create a compelling and persuasive final product<br />
•	Strong editing skills<br />
•	Keen attention to detail<br />
•	Extremely comfortable in a deadline oriented role<br />
•	Ability to effectively communicate with the sales team and clients, as well as with managers and colleagues<br />
•	Familiarity and use of research (MRI, VISTA, etc), partnerships, promotions and more to effectively engage advertisers in a particular category<br />
•	Team player with a “can-do” attitude<br />
•	Strategic thinker with both energy and passion for the brand<br />
•	Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, clients, art, corporate, and vendors in a collaborative way<br />
•	Ability to recruit talent in the food and lifestyle arena<br />
•	Requires 5-7+ years of magazine marketing or agency experience, knowledge of print research (MRI, MMR, etc.)<br />
•	Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and the Internet.<br />
•	Candidates must have a balance of strategic and creative ability, strong interpersonal skills and a track record of formulating and implementing idea-selling initiatives.<br />
•	Some travel and evening work required. </p>
