Fast Company, the most progressive, creative, and innovative business media brand, which was recently named to AdWeek\u2019s \u201cHot List\u201d for the third year in a row, seeks an intelligent, dynamic and energetic team player to join our marketing team. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create fully integrated merchandising programs to win new business, increase existing business and help Fast Company reach the advertising revenue and paging goals established for 2010. The position reports to the Executive Marketing Director.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
\n Working with integrated team of sales reps to develop cross-media ideas to meet client objectives and grow advertising business;
\n Translation of ideas into clear, concise, articulate and persuasive written proposals;
\n Conceptualize \u201cbig idea\u201d cross-platform\/integrated proposals utilizing all the capabilities of the Fast Company brand (in-book, online, events, partnerships, etc.);
\n Manage the fulfillment and execution of proposed\/sold concepts, including advertorials, sweepstakes, contests, digital components, etc.;
\n Identify potential partners for marketing platforms to leverage business;
\n Attend client sales calls to present concepts.
\nJob requirements include:
\n Bachelors degree;
\n Three to four years of magazine and\/or website marketing-related work (integration a plus!);
\n Knowledge of merchandising, promotion, sales materials and events;
\n Excellent written and oral communication;
\n Strong interpersonal skills.
