Job Description:
\nThis position is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most successful magazine launches in history. The Advertising Sales Manager will provide in-depth coverage of all level advertising accounts.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
\u2022\tManage a senior account list; sell integrated advertising programs to meet established goals.
\n\u2022\tDevelop and sell creative marketing solutions for clients using the different brand assets (integrated programs).
\n\u2022\tCultivate and maintain relationships to gain business, increase existing business and break non running business.
\n\u2022\tDevelop and manage sales territory through personal calls, correspondence, telephone contact, support services, and client entertainment.
\n\u2022\tUse knowledge of client, category, and marketplace to respond to client\u2019s concerns, questions and needs.
\n\u2022\tUse research and promotion effectively and creatively to individualize sales proposals and presentations.
\n\u2022\tProvide regular reporting and forecasting on accounts. <\/p>\n
Required Experience:
\n\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s degree desired.
\n\u2022\tA minimum of five years selling advertising space for consumer magazines.
\n\u2022\tStrong print sales background required; integrated experience including digital, events and direct client selling strongly preferred.
\n\u2022\tPowerPoint proficiency required; Salesforce experience preferred.
\n\u2022\tShould have a working knowledge of syndicated research and dealing with ad agencies.
\n\u2022\tMust be conscientious and organized to handle diversified account list.
\n\u2022\tMust have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to make presentations and deal with all levels of management.
\n\u2022\tShould have proven selling and negotiation skills and the ability to execute complex sales strategies with creativity and innovation.
\n\u2022\tSeeking highly motivated team player.
\n\u2022\tShould be available for travel. <\/p>\n
