{"id":1467,"date":"2010-06-28T23:06:16","date_gmt":"2010-06-28T23:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westovermedia.com\/blog\/?p=1467"},"modified":"2010-06-28T23:13:10","modified_gmt":"2010-06-28T23:13:10","slug":"business-research-insights-new-sr-analyst-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/westovermedia.com\/blog\/archives\/1467","title":{"rendered":"Business Research &#038; Insights: New Sr. Analyst Position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Ability to function as a category and\/or market segment \u201cexpert\u201d with professionalism and depth\u2014includes preparing Newsletters, Category Overviews, Trends, etc.<br \/>\nManages the fulfillment of RFP and syndicated data requests for specific categories.<br \/>\nAnalyze various secondary data sets and provide insights to various constituents (publishing, edit, and consumer marketing)<br \/>\nUnderstand the application and use of multiple secondary sources in addition to syndicated audience data in business situations which includes proficiency in developing competitive positioning arguments.<br \/>\nSupports network on special projects (ad effectiveness, corporate and brand initiatives)<br \/>\nCommunicate, collaborate, and cross-pollinate with the corresponding brand team within Consumer Research &#038; Insights (CRI) and the brand.<br \/>\nAbility to develop and foster internal client relationships. <\/p>\n<p>Skills &#038; Experience<br \/>\n\tThe position requires analytical and writing skills (left and right brain)<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Microsoft office tools (excel, powerpoint, etc.),<br \/>\n\tStrong attention to detail.<br \/>\n\tStrong communication and relationship-building skills<br \/>\n\tAn understanding of Publishing, Advertising, Media and Digital functions<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of advertising &#038; media.<br \/>\n\tExcellent presentation and writing skills<br \/>\n\tAbility for innovative and creative thinking<br \/>\n\tAbility to handle multiple activities simultaneously is required.  <\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tWe are looking for a dynamic individual that is both right and left brained.
