Brainstorms added value ideas and writes proposals for Fashion & Retail accounts (and other categories as required)
\nDevelops ideas for new, multi-advertiser programs, including developing budgets, writing sell sheets, etc.
\nAttends sales calls to present above-referenced programs to clients and agencies
\nCaptains execution of ongoing, multi-advertiser programs (e.g., 17U)
\nWorks with Seventeen\u2019s Editorial Fashion Department to translate trends for client fashion show merchandise selection
\nTravels extensively nationwide to host Seventeen events on-stage, overseeing all on-site event details
\nMakes media appearances representing Seventeen and clients
\nManages day-to-day requests from Sales Staff (client history, proposal revisions, photo\/documentation presentations, etc.).
\nCaptains execution of high-profile\/high-revenue clients (e.g., Macy\u2019s, JCPenney, Nike, Nordstrom, etc.)
\nTrains Merchandising Associate on event planning, budgeting, hosting, etc.
\nHandles all aspects of Shop-n-Style signature BTS program, including national print elements, day-of client events, concert, budget, etc.
\nPlans photo shoots for custom creative units
\nStays current on potential event talent and negotiates all talent contracts
\nAssists Associate Publisher\/Marketing in managing department workflow while Fashion Merchandising Director is on Maternity Leave
\nManages project budgets and timelines
\nStrong communications skills (writing and presenting), with the ability engage\/excite a crowd when on-stage
\nExtremely creative and quick to generate ideas
\nClear understanding of and affinity for Teen market
\nMust work well under time pressures, be organized and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
\nFluency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint; familiarity with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator<\/p>\n
