Rodale Inc. is currently seeking a Junior Designer to work on the marketing side in both print and online. The position is located in New York City. Responsibilities include: – Work directly with the Creative Director and with the marketing department – Manage monthly in-book promotional pages – Design advertising comps, marketing presentations, and sales meeting materials – Design promotion event collateral, invitations, direct mail pieces, media kit materials – Work with web designer to create web banners and advertising micro sites
\nRequirements: – 1-2 years experience required – Strong design and typography skills – Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is essential – Knowledge of Flash is a huge plus – Experience with print collateral, advertising, web and multimedia design a plus – Attention to detail and high motivation is essential – The ability to multi-task and work with deadlines is critical – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Great experience for a self-starter <\/p>\n
