Internship Description:
\n\u2022 You will report to the Promotion Art Director and work with the marketing and sales staff at Seventeen Magazine (Hearst)
\n\u2022 Scanning and light retouching
\n\u2022 Archiving files
\n\u2022 Helping with the design of logos, digital flyers, advertorials, e-blasts, counter cards, posters, invites, misc. sales materials, etc.
\n\u2022 Researching and pulling stock images\/images for \u201ccomps\u201d
\n\u2022 Help with the production of any upcoming photo shoots<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications\/Skills:
\n\u2022 Students must be enrolled in College during the time of the internship and MUST receive college credit
\n\u2022 MAC user
\n\u2022 Software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, powerpoint a plus
\n\u2022 Enthusiastic about design and typography
\n\u2022 Is on time, meets deadlines and is willing to help out with the art department workload in any way she\/he can and has a positive attitude
\n\u2022 Portfolio or examples of student’s design work will be reviewed and is essential for consideration (please send a URL\/link to your portfolio website or a PDF of samples of your work to: eweightman@hearst.com
\n\u2022 Hand drawing and illustration skills are a plus<\/p>\n
