We seek a highly a motivated individual with experience and fanatical passion for blogging, micro-blogging and community participation leadership. <\/span>Our Community Manager\/Blogger will oversee and contribute recurrent content to support a six month basketball campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

A passion for basketball, sports and popular culture is required.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qualifications and Experience<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  • Basketball knowledge: understanding of game and NBA structure; culture & conversations; colloquial use of language in regards to basketball<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Advanced understanding of the social media universe including YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc\u2026We\u2019re looking for a social media addict who maintains a personal mix of participatory expertise from among these channels<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of search engine optimization including basic keyword research. <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Analytic & Reporting requirements<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Report on status of NBB ecosystem & campaign on a daily, weekly and monthly basis<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal and\/or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for optimizing those campaigns<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Conduct keyword research including cataloging and indexing target keyword phrases <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Tag and title content with an understanding of how the selected words impact natural search traffic and rankings via recurrent optimized content <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the project, report to appropriate parties. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Responsible for development of ongoing success metrics that will be used to inform the overarching social media strategy for NBB <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
