Description:
\nLittle Pim Corporation, based in Manhattan (West 14th Street), seeks a Marketing Coordinator to join its staff and help with administration and marketing of its award-winning language-teaching DVD series and other products for young children (see www.LittlePim.com).<\/p>\n
The line includes DVDs, CDs, flash cards, apps, interactive games, and a website all featuring an animated panda bear named Little Pim. The company has a friendly office environment with a collaborative team, and a growing, international reach. The DVDs are sold online, carried in over 600 book and toy stores around the country, Barnes & Noble stores nationwide and over 150 public libraries. The company was founded by Julia Pimsleur Levine, filmmaker, entrepreneur and mother of two, in 2006.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:
\n\u2022\tResearch and execute marketing efforts, working closely with Little Pim\u2019s Chief Marketing Officer, Sales Director and President
\n\u2022\tResponsible for Little Pim\u2019s social networking initiatives (e-newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), independently and\/or in collaboration with a freelance social networker
\n\u2022\tMonitor SEM campaigns with an outside agency, oversee website updates, and help build a variety of marketing tactics to drive traffic to site.
\n\u2022\tHelp coordinate design, production and fulfillment of new products
\n\u2022\tCoordinate and attend trade shows and offsite events.
\n\u2022\tHire and manage interns, liaison with outside design manager, handle customer service calls, and a variety of office tasks.
\n\u2022\tSupport cooperative team members in a close-knit, fast-paced, ever-growing small business environment. <\/p>\n
Requirements:
\n\u2022\tMarketing professional with 3+ years experience
\n\u2022\tTalent for multi-tasking and a \u201ccan-do\u201d attitude
\n\u2022\tCandidate must possess excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to generate creative marketing ideas\/concepts.
\n\u2022\tExpertise in social media and interest in\/comfort with digital marketing
\n\u2022\tSEM\/SEO experience a plus
\n\u2022\tExperience with product development, film and digital production, and\/or project management a plus.
\n\u2022\tExperience or interest in children’s products, education, foreign language learning and\/or consumer product distribution a plus.
\n\u2022\tSense of humor and love (or at least strong like) of young children.<\/p>\n
