Responsibilities: <\/p>\n
\u2022 Utilize third party and syndicated research to help position Meredith Parents Network brands\u2014Parents and American Baby\u2014to advertising clients and agencies
\n\u2022 Work with the corporate sales department to build sales strategies for specific accounts and category development
\n\u2022 Generate sales collateral, including category presentations, sell sheets, mailings, etc., to effectively communicate the unique selling proposition for each brand across categories, including baby, beauty, food, technology and finance
\n\u2022 Work with Sales\/participate in sales calls to bring each brand to life for advertisers
\n\u2022 Maintain marketing tools and status reports
\n\u2022 Idea generation and proposal writing to drive incremental print, digital and\/or sponsorship revenue, as needed
\n\u2022 Opportunity to work with members of other Meredith businesses (Interactive, Video Studios, etc.) to explore cross-media opportunities<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n\u2022 Ability to effectively communicate with the sales team and clients, as well as with managers, colleagues and vendors in a collaborative way
\n\u2022 Familiarity and use of research (MRI, VISTA, etc), partnerships, promotions and more to effectively engage advertisers in a particular category
\n\u2022 Team player with a \u201ccan-do\u201d attitude
\n\u2022 Strong work ethic and ability to take control of projects
\n\u2022 Candidates must have a balance of strategic and creative ability, strong interpersonal skills and time management
\n\u2022 Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and the Internet<\/p>\n
