CNNMoney.com is looking for a smart, creative, hard-working person to join our team as a Sales Development Manager based in New York City.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In this role, you will manage specific categories and work with the online sales staff to find solutions to grow advertising revenue across display, video, mobile and other digital platforms. You will be involved in developing idea-centric opportunities, building rationales to convince new clients to advertise and exploring cross-media advertising opportunities with CNN and other Time Inc. properties. You will be responsible for evaluating and determining the strongest strategies, and preparing corresponding online media plans and marketing programs.<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities include:
\n\u00a7<\/span> Partnering with sales to develop online media plans for advertising clients
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Preparing sales proposals and presentations with a strong attention to detail
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Collaborating with sales and ad operations to develop and implement custom programs
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Contributing to the development of site marketing materials and overall positioning
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Interacting with internal colleagues and outside vendors on program implementation
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Interfacing with order management system
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Identifying potential online partners to develop alliances and other mutually beneficial arrangements<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Experience:
\n\u00a7<\/span> 3+ years previous online advertising, sales, or marketing experience or
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> 4+ years media business experience in sales development, account management\/client services
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Familiarity with online tools (workflow systems, research, etc.) a plus<\/span><\/p>\n

Education:
\n\u00a7<\/span> Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/span><\/p>\n

Skills:
\n\u00a7<\/span> Solid understanding of Internet advertising, benchmarks and sales process
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Proficiency with PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel and the Web
\n<\/span>\u00a7<\/span> Balance of strategic and creative ability, strong interpersonal skills and a track record of formulating and implementing idea-centric initiatives<\/span><\/p>\n
