Taste of Home is the world’s leading food media brand; we publish 3 magazines, over 40<\/p>\n

special interest recipe collections for sale at retail and grocery stores each year, dozens of<\/p>\n

cookbooks-hardback and spiral bound, we host over 300 local cooking schools around the<\/p>\n

country each year, and tasteofhome.com is one of the fastest growing food websites.<\/p>\n

Taste of Home is part of the RDA Food & Entertaining Affinity, the first and only media<\/p>\n

community designed to unify the voices and experience of everyday cooks and home<\/p>\n

entertainers.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Manage a senior account list; sell integrated advertising programs including<\/p>\n

print\/digital\/event to meet established goals.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Develop and sell creative marketing solutions for clients using the different brand<\/p>\n

assets (integrated programs).<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Cultivate and maintain relationships to gain business, increase existing business and<\/p>\n

break non running business.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Develop and manage sales territory through personal calls, correspondence,<\/p>\n

telephone contact, support services, and client entertainment.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Use knowledge of client, category, and marketplace to respond to client\u2019s concerns,<\/p>\n

questions and needs.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Use research and promotion effectively and creatively to individualize sales proposals<\/p>\n

and presentations.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Provide regular reporting and forecasting on accounts.<\/p>\n

\n

Required Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree desired.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>A minimum of 3-5 years selling advertising space for consumer magazines.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Strong print sales background required; integrated experience including digital,<\/p>\n

events and direct client selling strongly preferred.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>PowerPoint proficiency required; Sales force experience preferred.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Should have a working knowledge of syndicated research and dealing with ad<\/p>\n

agencies.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Must be conscientious and organized to handle diversified account list.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Must have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication<\/p>\n

skills including the ability to make presentations and deal with all levels of<\/p>\n

management.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Should have proven selling and negotiation skills and the ability to execute complex<\/p>\n

sales strategies with creativity and innovation.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Seeking highly motivated team player.<\/p>\n

\u2022<\/span> <\/span>Should be available for travel.<\/p>\n
