Drive product vision, strategy and execution for RealSimple.com, in close collaboration with the site General Manager, Site Content Director and other key stakeholders of the business. A strong Product Manager will be capable of communicating product specifications visually or written in the form of annotated wireframes or detail functional specification and capable of integrating various ideas from all stakeholders into a cohesive product(s) and requests.<\/p>\n

Duties\/Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\u2022Works closely with Business, Editorial, Sales and Audience Development to originate and develop product strategies and user experiences that achieve business goals and strategy
\n\u2022Prioritizes product initiatives into an executable roadmap and sequences initiatives based on business strategy, impact and user experience
\n\u2022Documents and defines product requirements and interactions that development can clearly execute from
\n\u2022Collaborates with teams across the Time Inc organization and serve as the main point of contact with the dedicated Digital Solutions, Development, QA and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution against product plans
\n\u2022Develop project schedules with IT Project Management team; communicate status and schedule to all stakeholders within the project
\n\u2022Trouble shoot issues that arise in production; escalate to appropriate parties for resolution
\n\u2022Monitors competitive trends and tracks feature\/functionality of competitive set
\n\u2022Uses analytical tools, and consumer feedback to refine offerings and drive new features\/functionality
\n\u2022Drives improvements in the productdevelopment process
\n\u2022Process oriented; with experience in an agile development process
\n\u2022Manage Freelance or Consultant Designers, UX or Project Managers to ensure standards and deadlines are meet according to project definition
\n\u2022Assesses industry developments to keep ahead of the competition and build innovative experiences that synthesize user and business requirements.
\n\u2022Evaluate technologies<\/p>\n

Ideal candidates will have:<\/p>\n

\u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent
\n\u20227 to 10 years of consumer facing web experience, functioning in the product or equivalent role
\n\u2022Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), and willingness to work in a team environment
\n\u2022Strong Project Management skills
\n\u2022Ability to think strategically at the same time focus on the most in-depth detail that makes a product go from good to great.
\n\u2022Self motivator with a positive can do attitude who works independently without significant oversight
\n\u2022Strong Technology Knowledge a must.
