Position will require a three to four day per week commitment as well as on site attendance at events.<\/p>\n<p>The intern will work closely with the marketing department to create integrated marketing programs to win new business, increase existing business and help reach the advertising revenue goals established for 2011. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span><br \/>\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Working      with a fun and enthusiastic marketing team to develop cross-media ideas to      meet client objectives and grow advertising business<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Aid      in translation of ideas into clear, concise, articulate and persuasive      written proposals<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Assist      in the fulfillment and execution of NYC based events<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Event      execution which involves event planning and setup and guest check in of an      exclusive guest list (high profile clients, sweepstakes winners and fellow      staff)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Job requirements include:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span> <\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Outgoing,      confident and approachable <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Organized,      detailed oriented and analytical <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Strong      communication skills (oral and written) <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>High      level of interest in marketing and event execution <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Ability      to work independently and in a team <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>STRONG      computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span>Office is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, between both Penn and Grand Central Stations. Hours are 9 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m., but negotiable on an availability basis.<span> <\/span>A lunch hour is also included.
