PureWow is a free daily lifestyle email publication for sophisticated, influential women backed by the Pilot Group who developed successful email publications including: Daily Candy, Thrillist and Tasting Table.<\/span><\/p>\n We are seeking a full-time ad sales account executive in our New York City office who has 2-3 years of digital media sales experience with a top performance record, an extensive contact list\/relationships, <\/span>understanding of the online advertising industry and a hunger to succeed in a growing start-up environment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Managing the sales cycle from start to finish (prospecting, navigating to key contacts, RFP competition, <\/span>creating media plans and <\/span>integrated merchandising proposals, generating insertion orders, securing advertiser collateral, <\/span>and entering them into third party admin systems <\/span>and results reporting).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Creation of strategic integrated merchandising proposals which meet client and brand objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Making in person sales calls with clients and agencies <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Penetrating medium to large size organizations (“Top 2000” advertisers, major sub-brands and Advertising Agencies) to help secure RFP\u2019s and advertising dollars.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Creating persuasive sales presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel detailing market trends, case studies and marketing solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage digital campaign performance, a<\/span>nalyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions from the results.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Working to develop effective sales strategies and advertising sales proposals for continued site revenue growth.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The ideal candidate will have:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>BA\/BS degree or equivalent <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Minimum of 2-3 years digital media sales experience<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>A high energy level is required<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Great with computers (Mac experience preferred), including word processing (Google Docs and\/or Word), spreadsheets (Google Docs and\/or Excel), and general internet savvy<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Fast learner and self starter<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Articulate and well spoken<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Location: New York<\/span><\/p>\n Compensation: Competitive salary plus commission; benefits<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n If you are interested in successfully growing with a fun, dynamic, and creative team in an environment with a lot of upside potential, please send your r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and salary requirements in an email to <\/span>courtney@purewow.com with “NY Ad Sales” in the subject line. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" PureWow is a free daily lifestyle email publication for sophisticated, influential women backed by the Pilot Group who developed successful email publications including: Daily Candy, Thrillist and Tasting Table.
