Creative Services is the in-house design agency responsible for conceptualizing and executing custom solutions for advertisers across the Cond\u00e9 Nast brands. We are currently seeking a Junior Designer who would be responsible for ad layouts, magazine section layouts, poster designs, logo treatments, web ads and a host of other creative and innovative media efforts. This position will report to a Senior Art Director and work collaboratively with a cross-functional team on every assigned project.<\/span><\/p>\n An ideal Junior Designer will possess the following: <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 1-2 years experience in a competitive, deadline-driven environment.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Strong page layout and logo design skills.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Thorough knowledge of CS4 and\/or CS5 and PowerPoint.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Eagerness to collaborate and pitch in when needed.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Punctuality and excellent time management skills.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash, and\/or After Effects.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Education in Interactive Design, Web Design or equivalent experience.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7<\/span><\/span> Familiarity with Cond\u00e9 Nast magazines and brands.<\/span><\/p>\n \n An ideal Junior Designer may also possess:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 A sophisticated, elegant, contemporary and innovative aesthetic.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Experience applying theories related to color schemes, use of space, typography, usability and visual flow.<\/span><\/p>\n
