{"id":2303,"date":"2011-06-29T18:29:25","date_gmt":"2011-06-29T18:29:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/westovermedia.com\/blog\/?p=2303"},"modified":"2011-06-29T18:29:25","modified_gmt":"2011-06-29T18:29:25","slug":"designer-people-stylewatch-people-en-espanol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/westovermedia.com\/blog\/archives\/2303","title":{"rendered":"Designer, People Stylewatch &#038; People en Espa\u00f1ol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--StartFragment--><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>Reporting to Art Director, the Designer is<br \/>\nresponsible for:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Design<br \/>\no Assist in design execution of branded<br \/>\nmaterials such as:<br \/>\nPresentations; sell sheets\/media kit; branded<br \/>\npromotion pages and client\/consumer<br \/>\nmailings; signature events<\/p>\n<p>o Work with requesting project manager to<br \/>\ncreate effective client materials such as:<br \/>\nadvertorials and comps, mailings, event<br \/>\ncollateral, eblasts, invitations<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Project management<br \/>\no Work with requesting project managers<br \/>\nto create effective materials on deadline.<br \/>\nManage project timelines to maintain said<br \/>\ndeadlines.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Production\/administration<br \/>\no Prep files for in-book pages and other<br \/>\nprint materials<br \/>\no Prep files for web and other digital<br \/>\nexecutions<br \/>\no Work with vendors, from estimate<br \/>\nprocess through to finished product<br \/>\no Research photos, fonts and manage<br \/>\npurchase of same<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have the<br \/>\nfollowing experience:<br \/>\n\u2022 A minimum of 3 years experience in<br \/>\nmarketing lifestyle\/fashion\/beauty<br \/>\nmagazines<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong design skills; strong creative<br \/>\nconcept skills a plus<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong project management and<br \/>\ncommunication skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to handle multiple projects and<br \/>\nwork under pressure<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of offset printing<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop,<br \/>\nIllustrator, Power Point.
