The position combines creative \u201cbig\u201d idea\/platform creation, partnership development, presentation skills as well as strong program execution.<\/p>\n<p>Primary Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Category development: Work with Senior Director on development of category-specific strategies including competitive landscape\/sales opportunities<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Presentation development and execution: Work with various departments (i.e. strategic research department, creative services and events) to create compelling proposals, presentations, marketing concepts and\/or positioning<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Industry relationships: Work with the studios, networks and labels on brand and advertiser initiatives<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Entertainment: Work with major award show organizations (i.e. GRAMMY\/SAG), film festival sponsorships, music and film events<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Client Meetings: Accompany sales reps on sales calls to present marketing platforms and client-specific opportunities<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Program Management: Responsible for creating and managing category programs<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Manage Integrated Marketing Associate<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree required, minimum 8-9 years marketing experience, preferably in media\/advertising.<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of the Entertainment category and relationships preferred<br \/>\n\u2022 Team player, self-starter who is also extremely innovative, professional and resourceful<br \/>\n\u2022 Ideal candidate must be highly proactive and solution-oriented<br \/>\n\u2022 Must have strong creative skills and extensive experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs<br \/>\n\u2022 Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #1f497d;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span>Contact <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"randi_weintraub@timeinc.com\">randi_weintraub@timeinc.com<\/a><\/span><\/span> for more information.<\/span><\/span> <!--EndFragment--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Associate Director will develop sales, marketing and promotional strategies for the PEOPLE Group including PEOPLE, PEOPLE.com and StyleWatch \u2013collaborating with both the print and online sales teams for the Entertainment, Fashion and Retail categories.
