A New York based Media Solutions company seeks an energetic and talented graphic design intern to assist the creative department in print and digital projects. The unpaid internship will offer viable experience in print media within national magazines in addition to knowledge in widespread digital advertising.\u00a0 Working closely with the creative department, the intern is expected to offer interesting ideas and a fresh perspective as well as completing many projects outlined below. Upon completion of the semester, the intern will create a full-page design, which will be placed in one of the major magazine publications the company participates in.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and special projects will include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
*\u00a0 Assist the design team with prepress processes for advertorial pages<\/p>\n
*\u00a0 Assist in design of company-wide marketing materials and collateral<\/p>\n
* Work closely with creative team on all design projects<\/p>\n
* Draft three redesigns of full-page monthly placements for consideration to\u00a0 run in three major beauty\/fashion magazines<\/p>\n
* Understand the internal processes of the company in order to create a high quality design at the semester\\’s end<\/p>\n
* 20-25 hours a week (credit allocation offered)<\/p>\n

Qualifications\/Experience:<\/p>\n
* Senior Year college level is required<\/p>\n
*\u00a0 Comprehension in Adobe CS5 is required<\/p>\n
*\u00a0 Mac platform is required<\/p>\n
*\u00a0 Detail-oriented<\/p>\n
Interested in learning the processes of a very active and high-paced \u00a0 creative\/production department<\/p>\n
