SHAPE magazine is looking for an experienced, strategic Integrated Marketing Manager to develop research-based marketing materials (presentations, brand brochures\/mailings, media kit materials, etc.) that convey the SHAPE brand to advertisers and deliver a powerful, compelling sales story that effectively positions SHAPE in the marketplace.<\/p>\n
This position requires creativity, attention to detail and a base of directly related experience to draw upon. The Marketing Manager must be able to handle numerous projects, and must be able to think strategically and creatively.<\/p>\n
The Marketing Manager’s primary responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Analyzing and incorporating syndicated and proprietary research into sales collateral material (sell pieces, brochures, mailings etc)<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Creating well-structured, print\/digital sales presentations (general, category specific and custom)<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Writing and editing from a marketing perspective<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Supporting work for special projects involving Reader Panel development and social media initiatives<\/p>\n
Criteria:<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 2+ years of experience marketing experience, preferably in magazines, advertising agencies or research<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Must have knowledge of syndicated research studies such as MRI, JD Power, PIB, ABC, and Hall’s,<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Primary research experience is a plus<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 MS Office and Adobe In Design proficiency<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Strong Writing Skills<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Strong organizational skills and able to multi-task<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Ability to assimilate information and present it clearly and concisely<\/p>\n
