Leading digital creative agency is seeking a creative and motivated individual with the gift of gab and an addiction to social media to work in our New York office. If you read Mashable every day, check your Klout score repetitively, and know what’s new in social media before everyone else, this position was made for you. The ideal candidate will work a min of 20 hours per week and have the opportunity to assist in the growth of the communications department and expand their understanding of digital marketing, advertising, and communications while having fun!<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS
\nMUST LOVE SOCIAL MEDIA AND LEARN QUICKLY
\nEnrolled in college or recent graduate preferably with a Marketing, PR or Communications background
\nStrong organization skills, ability to multi-task well, and severe attention to detail
\nResourceful, pro-active and inventive
\nSolid understanding of media, social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc. ) digital and mobile landscapes and the interplay between them
\nSuperior communication, writing, and organizational skills are a MUST!
\nCreative thinking, hard worker, culturally aware with a zest for life!
\nForeign languages are also a plus<\/strong><\/p>\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\nAssist the Social Media and Digital PR Department
\nPerform research activities
\nAid in execution of digital PR & social media strategies and programs
\nCompile and gather data for client reports
\nDraft press releases and maintain media lists
\nContribute to weekly editorial and content creation<\/p>\n

Software:
\niWork (Keynote a must) Office Suite (semi-expert knowledge of excel is a must) Creative Suite (Photoshop\/ Illustrator – general understanding)
\nMust be Mac savvy<\/p>\n

INTERNS WILL RECEIVE
\nCourse credit
\nMonthly stipend commensurate w\/ experience
\nInternship training program and review
\nAn insane amount of knowledge
\nLaughs, lots of laughs<\/p>\n
