<\/strong>Inc. magazine seeks a creative, detail-oriented Account Director for a maternity-leave position starting March 12 and running through mid-August. The Account Director manages a team of three Account Managers to execute on custom marketing programs for advertisers. The role includes developing the creation of custom print and web media programs, working with editors, designers, developers and managing client approvals. The Account Director is also responsible for working with sponsors on custom events and Inc.-branded events (Inc. 500\/5000 Conference, Leadership Conference)\u2014including building event presence, helping with attendee engagement and marketing.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Manage workflow of Account Management team\u2014assign tasks and provide overall business and project management direction;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Work with Sales and Marketing teams to execute custom media programs for clients\u2014could include newsletters, advertorials, microsites, webcasts, events, co-branded marketing, video production;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Manage internal resources regarding list management, web designers and developers, editorial development;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Manage and reconcile budgets;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Travel to events and conferences;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Meet with clients, sales, management and other internal departments as well as external vendors as needed;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Will shadow current Account Director for first few weeks prior to her MLOA.<\/span><\/p>\n

Job Requirements:
\n<\/strong>\u00b7 <\/span>College degree;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>10+ years of marketing and communication experience (agency, publishing, client side);<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Knowledge of web marketing;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Project management a plus;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Previous client management experience;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Creative strategizing and organizational skills;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Excellent written and oral communication;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 <\/span>Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, required.<\/span><\/p>\n
