This position will work on developing cross-platform programs for both our brands, THE WEEK and Mental Floss.<br \/>\nResponsibilities include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work independently and with sales and marketing team to develop multi-platform marketing proposals from concept development through creative execution for THE WEEK and Mental Floss brands<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop ideas and programs that effectively package multiple assets including our iPad, mobile and digital properties<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Effectively communicate marketing concepts and programs thru proposals, presentations and one sheets<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work with management and development teams to create innovative opportunities for advertisers on our iPad and mobile properties<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Write sales materials, sell sheets and media kit materials<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Create client-specific and category sales presentations<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing offerings for both brands<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Attend client sales calls to present integrated marketing concepts<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage advertiser programs, including creating production timelines and adherence to budget guidelines<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Work with research manager to develop sales tools and effective sales rationales<br \/>\n\u2022 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This position will be staff position or full time freelance (depending on candidates)<\/p>\n<p>Position Requirements:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">5+ years of successful integrated marketing and sales\/support experience<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Qualified candidates will be creative, have excellent writing ability and a high energy level.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Strong digital experience is a huge plus. Across any and all platforms.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Attention to detail and the ability to be resourceful are highly desirable.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Extensive background generating multi-platform, integrated programs<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing and communication skills<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Symbol;\">\u00b7 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">Excellent MAC skills.
