This position will be temporary at first (May-June 15) with the possibility of extending into a long-term freelance position. If the position is extended, the role will be enhanced to include working with other departments (web, circulation, etc.) on projects as needed.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span><br \/>\n<\/span><span>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>BA or MA in Graphic Design or related subject <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>3+ years professional experience in graphic design, with demonstrated experience in producing beautifully designed presentations incorporating dynamic text, videos, animations and interactive elements. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Superior layout, design and typographical skills required. <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Excellent facility with Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, Flash and PowerPoint required <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Excellent design and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with team members <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Creative, detail-oriented and able to exercise independent judgment <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Solid understanding of practical benefits and limitations of Internet technologies (Flash, javascript, CSS, video.) <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Intimate knowledge of HTML and CSS, understanding how comps translate to code with the ability to develop both HTML and CSS solutions<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial;\"><span>Please send your resume along with hourly\/daily rate to <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"jobs@theweek.com\">jobs@theweek.com<\/a><\/span><\/span>.
