This position reports directly to the<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Associate Publisher Marketing. The ideal candidate will work closely<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">with Senior Management to help develop digital strategy based on<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">business objectives as well as specifying the vision, goals,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">opportunities and initiatives in order to maximize the business benefit<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">of the digital investment and increase revenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Responsibilities include: * Partner with Business Management, Content,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Marketing, Digital Operations, and Sales to develop new digital<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">marketing deliverables * Have a shared customer facing role with sales<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">to present new digital programs * Uncover the key opportunities and\/or<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">challenges where online assets can provide a solution and develop a<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">vision around how the online assets will fulfill stated business<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">objectives * Determine the right mix of campaign elements that will<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">attract new customers and engage existing customers * Understand client<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">business and the industry they operate in; provide timely strategic<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">client counsel that leverages insights and capitalizes on relevant<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">digital platforms * Integrate digital solutions with &#8216;traditional&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">marketing (PR, Print, Events, etc.) * Deconstruct emerging media trends<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">and the opportunities those create for the publisher and its clients *<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Evaluate and optimize campaigns based upon meticulous measurement of<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">performance * Maintain knowledge of current online media trends and<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">provide training to internal employees when necessary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n<p class=\"p1\">Secondary Responsibilities * Partner with the Ad Operations team<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">assisting and recommending improvement opportunities, monitoring and<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">assisting in ad serving and tagging campaigns with service providers<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">including: Organizing creative specifications for media; Ensuring all<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">advertising is sent to the correct publisher; Monitoring creative units<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">to make sure they are running correctly; Troubleshoot ad delivery and ad<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">performance when necessary<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n<p class=\"p1\">Qualifications\/Requirements * Minimum of 3-5 years of digital marketing<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">and sales development experience * Strong knowledge of and interest in<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">digital media * Prior experience in leading planning engagements * Adept<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">at extracting meaningful insights from multiple sources of data *<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly * Strong business<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">writing, communication and presentation skills (writing and presenting)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) * Analytical<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">background with ability to manipulate data into actionable results. *<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and client relationship<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">skills * Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and to remain<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">graceful under pressure * Proactive, self-starter who can work well both<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">independently and as part of a team * Organized, accurate, attention to<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">detail * Advertising Operations experience and familiarity with Third<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Party Ad Serving platforms\/Rich Media providers (OAS, DFP\/DFA\/DART,<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Atlas, PointRoll, Eyeblaster, Eyewonder) is preferred. * Working<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">knowledge of HTML and Flash; ability to troubleshoot HTML tags *<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Complete understanding of basic research tools including Google Ad<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">planner, Comscore, Quantcast, and Ad Relevance<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n<p class=\"p1\">Rodale has made a positive difference in the lives of millions of<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">people.
