Cond\u00e9 Nast Internship Opportunity: W Magazine\/Advertising Department<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Cond\u00e9 Nast is offering a highly competitive and educational internship for the Fall 2012 at W Magazine in the Advertising Department.\u00a0 Candidates should have a keen interest in the multi-media industry and should be at least a college sophomore who will be able to receive credit for participating in this program. The Fall 2012 Intern Program will allow students to gain exposure to the industry and will provide a real-world experience that can be a supplement to classroom studies. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n – <\/span>Specifically W Advertising interns will: <\/span><\/p>\n – <\/span>Work with sales team to complete competitive positioning reports<\/p>\n – <\/span>Competitive Promotional Pages- Flag all promotional\/special advertising sections for our competitive publications (Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper\u2019s Bazaar, Elle, InStyle)<\/p>\n – <\/span>Front of book record-\u00a0 update spreadsheets monthly to record advertisers featured in the FOB of our competitive set<\/p>\n – <\/span>W Personal Shopper- Return phone calls, respond to email inquiries with appropriate information<\/p>\n – <\/span>Mailings (Overnight, messenger, international)<\/p>\n – <\/span>Expense report processing<\/p>\n – <\/span>Creating Edit Credit books (Recording edit credits, pulling tear sheets and compiling in hardcover book)<\/p>\n – <\/span>Maintenance of back issue closet; facilitating use for all, keeping tabs on quantities of back issues in storage<\/p>\n –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Database, inputting and managing information<\/p>\n – <\/span>Compiling custom media kits for sales reps to take on sales calls<\/p>\n – <\/span>Tabbing recent ads and editorial credits for sales calls<\/p>\n \n All Cond\u00e9 Nast interns will have the opportunity to attend a Speaker Series throughout the semester, which will highlight the various divisions of the publishing\/media business. In addition, they will have the opportunity to participate in a Company-wide educational project that will provide a hands-on learning experience that will last the duration of the semester.<\/span><\/p>\n
