Working in tandem with our Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for important partnerships including, but not limited to:
\n<\/span><\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Events:<\/strong> Brand experiences at signature events, advertiser-driven merchandising events, Fast Company\/advertiser integrations<\/p>\n

at partnership events, etc.;
\n<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Custom Content Development:<\/strong> In-book\/online advertorials, custom video, etc.;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Marketing\/Promotion of Sponsored Programs\/Events:<\/strong> Print announcements, email blasts, audience development, etc.<\/p>\n

Important:<\/strong> This position requires a self-starter<\/strong> who is at once a creative thinker<\/strong> and extremely detail oriented.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities Include: <\/strong>Managing and maintaining the overall aesthetic and tone of the Fast Company brand across program elements while satisfying advertiser needs and enhancing the Fast Company experience for magazine readers, website users, and event attendees.<\/p>\n

Left Brain:
\n<\/strong><\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Developing\/managing timelines and working team members internally, as well as clients and agencies, to ensure on-time<\/p>\n

execution of all program elements;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Developing\/managing budgets based on advertiser commitment and revenue;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Negotiating with vendors, partners, talent, etc. to ensure efficient rates;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Working with legal to ensure compliance\/coverage for Fast Company and our partners (talent release, sweepstakes\/contest<\/p>\n

rules, insurance, etc.).<\/p>\n


\nRight Brain:
\n<\/strong><\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Developing compelling concepts and themes for custom content (from videos to slide shows to advertorial articles and<\/p>\n

Infogrpahics); then doing the research and writing to bring them to life; AND when needed, managing the process\/providing<\/p>\n

creative oversight to others involved (designers, illustrators, freelance journalists, copy writers, etc.);<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Developing compelling ideas for event integrations and buildouts; then doing the research\/legwork and offering the creative<\/p>\n

oversight to bring them to life;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Working with Sales\/Marketing to conceptualize NEW revenue-generating ideas (events, partnerships, content ideas, etc.);<\/p>\n

then translating ideas into concise, persuasive written sales materials;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Cultivating a range of strategic partners (vendors, venues, organizations, talents, freelancers, etc.) to enhance\/execute<\/p>\n

programs;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Participating in\u2014and creatively contributing to\u2014client and agency meetings, sales calls, and brainstorming sessions to articulate<\/p>\n

creative concepts;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Working with PR\/and or Social Media Editors to develop strategies to extend exposure to relevant programs\/events.<\/p>\n

Requirements:
\n<\/strong><\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Expertise with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software programs;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Awareness of current culture and trends as they relate to Fast Company;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Willingness to travel (some events fall on evenings or weekends);<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 <\/span>Desire to take ownership of projects.<\/p>\n
