Job Description:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The Activation and Events Manager manages the program execution and event activation for the American Baby, FamilyFun, and Parents<\/em> brands. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Working closely with the Director of Activation and Events, this role involves a high level of interaction with clients, internal Meredith colleagues, and external vendors.\u00a0 A consistent professional, positive and helpful attitude is essential to maintain best in class service in the marketplace. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The Activation and Events Manager\u2019s responsibilities include:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Program Execution:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Execute sold integrated marketing programs across the Meredith Parents Network involving print, digital, tablet, mobile and experiential elements<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Execute sold added value by working with internal and third party vendors <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Work closely with the Art Department and oversee the advertorial and inbook special section process including: writing, design and timelines<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Work with legal to draft and adhere to sweepstakes and contest rules for necessary programs<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Create and uphold execution timelines with internal and external parties<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Event Planning and Execution:<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Assist with all Meredith Parents Network events <\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, collateral creation, onsite activation, and vendor management.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Update staff on commitment and material deadlines<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Other Responsibilities:<\/span><\/p>\n \u00b7 <\/span><\/span>Maintain and explore Meredith Parents Network partnerships and keep abreast of current opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n
