Graphic Designer
\nPureWow is seeking a full-time junior graphic designer with a minimum of one year professional design experience (at a publishing brand, agency or a similar work environment) to join our New York City staff.
\nYou will work closely with all departments at PureWow — marketing, sales, editorial and operations — to ensure compelling creative solutions align with strategic communication objections for digital marketing campaigns. You thrive in a collaborative environment, actively participate in creative discussions and deliver exceptional design work.
\nYou must be a self-starter, capable of working autonomously and taking the lead on multiple design projects at once, while also collaborating with a team and maintaining strong lines of communication internally.
\nResponsibilities may include the following:
\n\u2022\tHelp lead in the creative development of all assigned projects from concept to completion
\n\u2022\tAssist the marketing director in redesigning email templates, site widgets and structure, and general marketing collateral (including house ads, landing pages and social media banners)
\n\u2022\tAssist the sales team (and clients) in conceptualizing, designing, and securing approval of deadline-driven sales proposals, custom advertising campaigns, media kits, event invitations, collateral materials, and client reports Design and execute creative for high-profile partnerships with multiple brand partners
\n\u2022\tContinue to develop the PureWow brand from a visual perspective
\nQualifications:
\n\u2022\tCollege degree and minimum 1 year work experience
\n\u2022\tPortfolio demonstrating clean, modern design and branding capabilities
\n\u2022\tAbility to work well and fast across a broad range of responsibilities in a collaborative team-based environment
\n\u2022\tProficiency needed in all industry-standard design applications, particularly Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
\n\u2022\tPassion for design, strong typographical skills, and attention to detail are a must
\n\u2022\tExperience with Final Cut Pro and other video editing software a plus
