The primary role of<\/p>\n<p>the Digital Marketing Manager is to help develop and execute strategies for digital ad sales and support<\/p>\n<p>sold campaigns from inception to execution. They will work with the sales team to support digital plans<\/p>\n<p>that may utilize any of the core digital functions (web, social, mobile, digital media) while having an\u00a0understanding of analytics and reporting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Primary Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Develop high impact marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels (respond to RFPs\u00a0and create proactive proposals)<\/p>\n<p>Track campaign performance by monitoring and analyzing inventory; suggesting changes to the client and working across internal departments to implement the optimization plans in order to meet the contractual obligations of both AFAR and the client<\/p>\n<p>Maintain accurate weekly\/monthly\/quarterly and ad hoc reporting pertaining to clients and campaigns using both internal and client data sets<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team to create post-campaign wrap-ups and case studies<\/p>\n<p>Work closely with sales team to identify growth opportunities for existing campaigns and future\u00a0Opportunities<\/p>\n<p>Assist in implementation of tools, processes, and best practices to support revenue and ad sales\u00a0Operations<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 digital marketing experience, preferably in a media company, with a background in ad sales.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelors degree<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical abilities to perform quantitative analysis for content engagement across digital products and platforms.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manipulate data within Excel and PowerPoint to provide insightful reports to clients and management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with sales and marketing team teams to develop effective integrated programs<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing relationships with advertisers<br \/>\nAbility to manage multiple priorities at the same time in a fast-paced, professional environment.<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter who sets priorities, takes on new projects and drives deliverables to execution with full accountability<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and persuasively to senior management.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with analytics platforms and web technologies (such as ad serving like DFP, audience management tools, behavioral targeting products, HTML, Flash, third-party ad tags) is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Email resumes to:\u00a0jobs@afar.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AFAR is the multi-platform travel media brand that inspires and guides those who travel the world to connect with its people, experience their cultures, and understand their perspectives.
