ESSENCE is looking for a mid-to-senior level integrated marketing freelancer who can work at our offices a minimum of 4 days a week.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:
\n\u2022 Conceptualize and write integrated marketing proposals based on advertiser objectives across a variety of categories (e.g. retail, fashion, tech, auto, finance, entertainment, etc.)
\n\u2022 Brainstorm with the Integrated Marketing team on custom marketing solutions and develop supporting research\/industry insights to strengthen the idea
\n\u2022 Analyze data and develop brand-specific marketing strategies, presentations, collateral and materials by strategically and creatively turning facts and statistics into compelling brand stories
\n\u2022 Work closely with sales team to create strategies for winning accounts
\n\u2022 Execute integrated marketing programs including advertorials, sweepstakes, contests, gift-with-purchase, sampling, online integration, events, etc.
\n\u2022 Work closely with digital team to conceptualize and integrate digital platforms into marketing proposals
\n\u2022 Provide sponsor management support for signature ESSENCE events
\n\u2022 Explore partnerships based on specific categories
\n\u2022 Update sales and marketing materials including category presentations, sell sheets, sales decks, media kit<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\nIn addition, candidate must be well versed in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and have strong copywriting, storytelling and proofreading skills. Ideal candidate must have a balance of strategic and creative ability, be a team player, and thrive working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and can juggle multiple projects with ease. Ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.<\/p>\n
