\nFast Company, the most progressive, creative and innovative business media brand, seeks a Marketing Director to conceive and develop creative marketing solutions in support of advertising sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success, a commitment to driving revenue, and the ability to maximize marketing partnerships to achieve client and Fast Company goals.<\/p>\n

The Marketing Director will report to the Executive Marketing Director and work closely with the Advertising and Creative Services teams.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
\n<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Drive revenue opportunities by creating integrated and sponsorable marketing programs across the Fast Company network<\/p>\n

while maintaining the overall aesthetic and tone of the Fast Company brand;<\/p>\n

o \u00a0Strategize, ideate and create large-scale integrated marketing proposals for target accounts<\/p>\n

o \u00a0Capture advertiser needs and proactively identify new opportunities that leverage editorial,<\/p>\n

product and external vendor capabilities<\/p>\n

o \u00a0Respond to advertiser RFPs with compelling, strategic, large-scale and integrated proposals<\/p>\n

that effectively communicate program concepts, benefits and requirements<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Overall department supervision, including management of four full-time staff members, weekly reports, and budget oversight;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Foster relationships with strategic partners to enhance our portfolio of cross-promotions and unique programs;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Draw on research and brand insights to develop compelling stories on how prospective clients can reach their demographic through<\/p>\n

the Fast Company network;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Participate in\u2014and creatively contribute to\u2014client and agency meetings, sales calls, and brainstorming sessions to articulate<\/p>\n

creative concepts;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Write\/produce and maintain advertising sales and promotional materials including general presentations, media kits and sell sheets.<\/p>\n

Must Haves:
\n<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>10 years of marketing ad sales experience;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Creative and strategic thinker with strong written and presentation skills;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Fluency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office. Keynote and InDesign are pluses;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Ability to interpret publishing and digital metrics and research tools;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Willingness to travel;<\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00b7 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Positive attitude, solid work ethic, tenacious follow through.<\/p>\n
