To be a successful member of the Texas Monthly marketing team, the Coordinator must excel at multi-tasking and taking initiative,   have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working both in teams and independently. Candidate must also be able to organize workloads and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br \/>\nJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br \/>\n\u2022\tProvide administrative support and assist with daily tasks and projects<br \/>\n\u2022\tAssist with all internal and external events (pre-event production; on-site logistics and execution, and post-event follow through)<br \/>\n\u2022\tManage execution of a variety of in-book, online, and direct mail merchandising programs<br \/>\n\u2022\tCoordinate all online marketing department initiatives including content creation and sweepstakes fulfillment<br \/>\n\u2022\tAssist with proofreading, fact-checking, light writing, and ad trafficking for special sections, as needed<br \/>\n\u2022\tManage and distribute promotional merchandise inventory<br \/>\n\u2022\tExecute marketing mailings<br \/>\n\u2022\tRecruit and supervise marketing interns<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidate will possess the following skills\/abilities:<br \/>\n\u2022\tExcellent organizational and time management skills<br \/>\n\u2022\tAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines<br \/>\n\u2022\tProven track record of accuracy and attention to detail<br \/>\n\u2022\tAbility to support multiple individuals in a fast-paced environment<br \/>\n\u2022\tWork with a team as well as independently on various projects<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:<br \/>\n\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s Degree<br \/>\n\u2022\t1-2 years\u2019 experience in a marketing or sales role; publishing experience preferred<br \/>\n\u2022\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills<br \/>\n\u2022\tProficient in Microsoft Office applications a must<br \/>\n\u2022\tKnowledge of HTML, preferred<\/p>\n<p>Travel:<br \/>\nSome overnight travel and evening and weekend event support required<\/p>\n<p>Education\/Experience:<br \/>\nCollege degree and one or more years administrative experience required. <\/p>\n<p>Application Process:<br \/>\nIf you are a qualified candidate and interested in this position we encourage you to apply.
