Job Description:
This position is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most successful magazine launches in history. The Advertising Sales Manager will cover major accounts in the NY market in a variety of categories such as: packaged goods, pharmaceutical, financial and beauty. The Advertising Sales Manager will be responsible for increasing existing business, generating new advertising pages and revenue by developing strategic plans, preparing presentations and negotiating rates and schedules. The Advertising Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key advertising decision makers.

Required Experience:
• Effective sales skills, negotiation techniques and communication skills
• A proven ability to plan, develop and implement sales strategies with creativity and innovation
• Organized to handle a diversified account list and necessary reporting to management
• Highly motivated team player
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years sales experience
• Strong relationships at agencies and with clients
