Prevention Magazine, Prevention.com and EatClean.com, part of Rodale, Inc., is looking for a smart, dynamic, strategic, creative thinker to join our Marketing team in our New York office and hit the ground running!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage RFP process across select categories from ideation through execution and provide client-ready responses to successfully support the sales team and win business across all Prevention properties
  • Ideation and writing of proactive proposals, programs  and presentations articulating Prevention’s unique value and brand DNA   
  • Work with sales and marketing counterparts to build signature programs, strategic partnerships and competitive added value opportunities for clients to increase visibility, revenue and client base for the Prevention brand
  • Project manage and execute sold programs across all media including print, digital, mobile, social and event platforms, working with internal departments and outside vendors to achieve successful outcomes.  Manage individual budgets.  
  • Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing offerings
  • Write and develop sales support collateral such as sell sheets, media kit materials,  recaps, comps, etc.
  • Responsible for management of select Prevention marketing programs including category specific management of Prevention’s signature event – the R3 Summit


Requirements:

  • Min. 3-4 years of advertising/marketing experience, preferably in media/advertising
  • Candidate must have strong balance of strategic and creative skills and experience in developing and executing compelling integrated marketing programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly pro-active and solution-oriented, a team player and self-starter with strong interpersonal and client skills
  • Detailed oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast- paced, high-volume work environment
  • Working knowledge of digital highly recommended: from web advertising units/capabilities to implementation of digital marketing concepts, knowledge and comfort with social media platforms, apps, and tablet platforms for media/publishing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.  Custom Show experience a plus.
