Marketing & Promotions Design Intern at NYLON Magazine August 4, 2010
NYLON Magazine is looking for a Marketing Design Intern for the Fall 2010 semester. You must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS3+, and all Microsoft Office Applications. Main responsibilities include marketing decks and proposals, mock-ups for marketing and advertising materials, occasional design work, and shadowing the Marketing and Promotions designer. Nylon is a small, fast-paced, fun environment so you’ll get experience with many different projects. You must be a strong designer with a keen eye for aesthetics and typography, as well as familiar with the NYLON publication. We’re looking for an excited intern who is a fast learner and self-motivated with a can-do attitude! Must be flexible, detail-oriented, hands-on, pro-active, and have good multi-tasking and time management skills.
All candidates should be currently enrolled in a College/University (or be a recent graduate) in an Art/Design/Studio Art program, and must have access to and bring their own laptop each day. Interns must be available to work at least 2-3 full days during the week. All internships are unpaid, can be for school credit, and can be for full or part-time. This is a New York, NY internship.
