Investopedia.com, a Forbes Digital Company, seeks an experienced advertising sales professional to handle accounts in the greater New York area and the Southeast.

Investopedia is the leading online portal for investor education and is experiencing growth in both traffic and advertising revenue. Based in New York, your primary responsibility will be to meet and exceed territory goals while maintaining and developing relationships and marketing solutions for a diverse financial client base.

This exciting position will require some travel to the Southeast and other key markets as needed. The sales territory is large and the client base varies from well-established to developmental accounts putting a premium on ones organizational skills, accountability and a self-disciplined entrepreneurial mindset.

This position demands the knowledge of how digital ad programs are constructed, executed and monitored to ensure client satisfaction and revenue growth. A full understanding of performance metrics and campaign optimization is also required.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must, as is the ability to convincingly present sales proposals and concepts to large and small groups and close business. A BS degree is required and post graduate degrees will be seen as a plus.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of digital sales experience as well as agency buy-side experience with a proven track record of increasing responsibility and meeting company goals and objectives.
