Marketing Coordinator – Real Simple March 15, 2010

Candidate will help manage research, competitive information, sales collateral and added value programs and promotions across multiple advertising categories for the Real Simple brand.

Responsibilities:
Develop sales materials, including media kit sheets, for sales team
Organize key research for sales and marketing
Compile monthly competitive advertising and syndicated research tracking and analysis
Maintain share of market database including all brand and sales rep assignments
Manage ongoing promotional programs, e.g. monthly e-blast deployment, standard promotional pages, etc.
Create a system and maintain ROI tracking for editorial mentions and promotional programs
Assist in the execution of signature brand programs

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years marketing experience, preferably in media/advertising, required
Basic knowledge of MRI preferred
Candidate must be an enthusiastic creative thinker and team player with a solid knowledge of marketing and the media business, ideally with a concentration on women’s business
Must be resourceful, proactive, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
