Investopedia.com, A Forbes Digital LLC subsidiary, is one of the web’s largest sites devoted to personal finance and investing education.

Reports to: VP Sales

Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager works in partnership with both the sales team in developing sales collateral and with product management to develop online marketing plans for new site development releases. This role is also responsible for helping maintain and improve our company brand in the online space and owning all marketing data metrics.

More specific key responsibilities:

Ø Establish marketing strategies to help meet organizational objectives including continuous improvement towards increasing Investopedia brand in the online space and seeking barter arrangements with other sites

Ø Develop and implement online marketing campaigns for key internal product and site features releases including owning the actual launch and ensuring the right target market

Ø Obtain and evaluate user research including owning the user survey

Ø Ownership of all marketing data measurements including working with research vendors to access and utilize research for presentations and sales collateral and assist in updating sell sheets, media kits, RFPs and presentations

Ø Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge including the audience

Ø Organizing and approval of 3rd party supplied creative and content specifically in new types of content areas

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the Internet and well-versed in how it works. 3-5 years experience in a similar role would also be preferred. Other qualifications include:

Ø business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
Ø experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
Ø technical marketing skills
Ø proven experience in customer and market research
Ø relevant product and industry knowledge
