Merchandising Associate – Major young women’s brand June 28, 2010
Major young women’s brand is seeking a creative and strategic individual to develop integrated marketing
ideas that generate advertising revenue for the magazine and website.
Responsibilities will include:
* Development of cross-platform proposals for multiple advertising categories that utilize all the capabilities of the brand (in-book, digital, events, licensed products, etc.)
* Execution of merchandising programs from start-to-finish (including events, sweepstakes, advertorials, GWPs, retail programs, digital promotions, etc.)
* Management of budgets for proposed merchandising programs/events
* Presentation of merchandising concepts to clients
* Management of in-book & online promotional pages
Candidates must possess:
* 1-2 years of merchandising experience at a major magazine
* Creation of cross-platform promotions a plus
* Exceptional writing abilities
* Superior organizational, project management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work closely within a team environment
* High level of professionalism
* Excellent client communication skills
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
* Undergraduate degree
