Position Title: Manager, Marketing Intelligence

Location: New York, NY, US

Job Description:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills who loves working with data and is passionate about developing creative, research-driven marketing insights for sales, clients and high-level publishers and management. Must be flexible, have great attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and priorities, and work well both independently and collaboratively.
Manage and analyze research data to support and augment advertising sales, document print and digital advertising effectiveness and provide strategic marketing research insights. Proactive and efficient customer service is essential and must be a continual focus.
• Coordinate between sales force and research department to ensure efficient turnaround on all sales and marketing requests
• Manage high-priority reader panel research projects from inception to fieldwork and through execution
• Analyze and present relevant research projects to top management and sales.
• Create compelling marketing insights, stories and spins of research data
• Process, analyze and trend all relevant syndicated media research and market studies
• Develop relevant and opportunistic prototypes on an as-needed and anticipatory basis
• Monitor and improve ongoing category and competitive presentation deliverables
• Orchestrate ROI, accountability and value-added research on both an opportunistic and as-needed basis
• Pursue new developments in media research

Required Experience:
• 5-7 years in magazine/media research
• College-degree
• Strong analytic skills and instincts, with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic, demanding environment
