a self-starter who can think creatively and strategically, has strong analytical and “story-telling” skills and the ability to create compelling presentations and sales materials. Must be resourceful, have great attention to detail and work well both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
• Create compelling marketing insights, stories and spins of research data
• Create/update presentations, sell sheets, mailers and other tools to support advertising sales efforts across a variety of categories
• Maintain Bon Appétit’s reader panel. Conduct surveys on behalf of Bon Appétit and advertisers; analyze and package results
• Manage the analysis and reporting of Vista Print Effectiveness Research
Required Skills/Experience
• Ability to synthesize research and information from myriad sources to create compelling presentations and sales materials
• Comprehensive knowledge of advertising sales, magazine marketing and media research sources (e.g. MMR, MRI, Starch, Vista, PIB/TNS etc.)
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word; knowledge of Custom Show a plus
• Strong time-management skills; demonstrated ability to establish and meet deadlines and efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 7 years of magazine or agency marketing/research experience; publishing experience preferred.
