The Integrated Marketing Director directs the creative services department and develops marketing programs to help drive new and existing print and online advertising revenue for the company. The position reports to the Executive Director, Creative & Marketing Services for New York Media. Successful candidates must have excellent communication skills and be a strategic thinker and problem solver. Attention to detail and strong presentation and writing skills are essential. The ability to multi-task and flourish in a fast-paced environment is critical.

Department Management/Leadership

· Oversee and manage daily operations of the creative services department (Integrated Marketing, Copy and Special Events).

· Concept and oversee development of in-book and online creative units.

· Oversee annual integrated marketing department budget.

· Maintain quality standards and ensure that deadlines are met and materials are delivered in a timely manner.

Project Management/Copywriting

· Spearhead and manage client specific programs and select new signature initiatives.

· Work in partnership with Creative Director to manage and oversee the creative process for all marketing and sales materials.

· Extensive copywriting for various marketing materials and oversee freelance copywriters for sell sheets and special advertising sections.

Business Development

· Strategize with advertising sales to help sell through marketing programs by going on sales calls, crafting client specific presentations, concepting clever follow up for ad sales calls.

· Work with Integrated Marketing Mangers to develop new signature programs to drive advertising revenue.

· Work in partnership with Research Director to concept and produce new advertising sales tools.

The Position Requires

· Creativity and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

· 10+ years experience delivering multi-platform communication programs.

· Print and online experience are essential
