We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our growing team of professionals located in Midtown Manhattan. The Human Resources Coordinator works in the Human Resources Department, providing day-to-day support to multiple Directors. This position is responsible for:

· Basic administrative support, such as phone coverage, filing, faxing, distributing mail, and greeting candidates
· Scheduling appointments and maintaining busy calendars
· Creating and updating organizational charts
· Handling expense reports
· HR-related projects and research
· Maintaining merit system data and running reports
· Assisting with recruiting efforts, including reviewing job descriptions, posting jobs online, checking candidate references and coordinating out-of-town candidate interviews
· Responding to and preparing employment verifications

Candidates should have an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, as this is an opportunity to learn and grow while working with a dynamic group of professionals. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience/skills:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience providing administrative support
• Proficiency in all MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
• High degree of professionalism & discretion. Work is generally of a confidential nature.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and the ability to re-prioritize quickly
• Organized with high attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve and work independently
• Ability to monitor and process tasks through to completion

Skills that are beneficial, but not required are:

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft or other HRIS applications
• Familiarity with Taleo or other recruiting applications
• Human Resources support experience
• Interviewing and resume screening experience
• Research experience
