This Old House, America’s No.1 home improvement brand, is looking for an idea-driven marketer who will support our 360 degree marketing and advertising efforts in print, online and television.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

§ Presentation/proposal writing: Write and execute persuasive custom PowerPoint presentations and proposals that articulate our unique value proposition, spin a compelling story based on research and brand fit, and conceptualize integrated marketing solutions that creatively provide advertisers with return on objective
§ Idea generation and program development:  Work with sales and marketing colleagues to develop integrated opportunities that harness our print, online, television, talent, editors, project houses, events, books, underwriter relationships, and more to drive cross-platform revenue
§ Category development:  Research the competitive landscape and develop presentations that advance TOH benefits and strategies for growing our share in a variety of endemic and non-endemic categories
§ Project/program management & execution:  Manage own daily workflow, including the prioritizing of presentations and programs and follow-up on all materials delivered to sales partners
§ Digital & TV coordination: Work with digital team and TV partners in Concord to conceptualize and execute integrated proposals
§ Promotional material execution:  Share responsibility for creating sell sheets, eblasts and promotional materials for edit and marketing programs

Required skills include:
§ 4-6 years of magazine marketing and/or agency experience
§ Background generating and executing multi-platform integrated programs
§ Digital and social networking knowledge
§ Solid communications skills
§ Extreme comfort in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented role
§ Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, edit, clients, art, corporate and vendors in a collaborative way

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
